Installing Themes 101
1. You must first have a system
that supports themes. Windows NT usually doesn't, but you can apply some
of the effects manually.
2. You will need theme management software like Windows Plus or
Desktop Architect. Without the proper software, themes generally don't
work. For those of you using XP, you must have your desktop set up in the
Classic Mode.
3. Choose a space on your hard drive to keep your themes. I suggest
that you create a file called "Desktop Themes". Then, every time you
unzip or run the exe file, designate a folder with that theme name in
which to place the elements. This will keep your hard drive and your theme
files organized.
4. After you've placed the parts in the folders, open your theme software,
find the theme of your choice and apply it.
Happy Themeing,
