Still One Nation

My life, like everyone else's, was changed forever 5:46 am PST on September 11, 2001. For me it meant recall to active duty in the US Coast Guard and not knowing when I would get my "real life" back. For many others it was much worse. Being called to serve your country is a small thing. I didn't have die or loose a loved one and my thoughts are often with those who still grieve. I want them to know I will NEVER forget what they gave up, because if we do, the terrorists win. This year’s 9-11 theme is dedicated to all those lost, their families and friends and to all who answered the call for help – in whatever capacity. And especially to Todd Beamer’s family – he, the passengers and crew of Flight 93 were TRUE HEROS. I salute you all.
